The new transom is great, rock solid and engine does not move a bit.
I also noticed that i have no vibration through the steering any more.

Only problems, The transducer kicks a rooster tail up.I need to adjust that up a bit.
Only getting 32 mph at 5200 rpm WOT. Had my buddy drive while i hung over the back and the cav plate is still under water about an inch.
So i guess i'll raise the engine another hole.I have 2 more holes to go.

I put it through the paces with hard turns and full throttle take offs and the transom never budged! The Seacast seems to be the stuff..:D

It was nice to be back on the water...

Thanks for the review on seacast. I may be redoing a transom this winter. Given your experience, it's still high on the list of options.

Congrats, looks like that cheap boat is going to be a good one. boy, for what you've got you have a very small investment.

Glad to hear it all went well. I still can't get over the before and after pictures. It really does look like a new boat. Good to know that seacast is rock solid. Mine should be arriving next week sometime. :)

Thanks Esox! Good luck. I think you will be happy with it.:D

I did have a couple people at the ramp looking at my old boat. Even the SeaTow guy liked it..
