Shoreline trailer parts?

Does anyone have a source for Shoreline trailer parts? I need a pair of tandem axle equalizer bars for an early 80's boat trailer. They measure 8 1/2" spring eye hole to hole and 10" overall. They are hollow and made of 1/8" wall U channel with a bushing set slightly above the centerline of the spring eyes.

Nothing generic matches up, before I have to fabricate these, I just wanted to see if anyone knew of a source?

Try Ebay. Might find a dealer who specializes in old trailer parts there.

I've been watching there for months, no luck, the springs and other hardware are standard, but the equalizer bars in the center are something they fabricated to be different. They spread the wheels apart farther than on most trailers, thus it has four separate fenders. If I use a standard eq bar, the wheels will be 3' closer together and I would need to change all the frame brackets. I will most likely fabricate a set of new ones, and when I do that, I'll add some greaseable bronze bushings to the thing, that way it won't seize up and wear out like these did.

Sounds like you may be better off to update it to the newer style anyway.

I'll make a few changes, but I'm not re-engineering the whole trailer. It's still going to run slipper springs, they seem to do better in saltwater, (there's less parts to rust up and seize). What I plan to do it to make a new set of tubular equalizer bars but make the center pivot with a nylon or brass bushing, and use a larger diameter as well. I will most likely use nylon simply so it's easier to replace and it won't seize up if the bolt rusts. It also won't need constant lube.
This trailer won't see all that many miles, it sits more than anything, so the nylon will be the best choice.

I know it's been some time, but did you ever make new equalizers for your shoreline trailer?

I need a set too.
