gas tank problem

I have a 1995 Sleekcraft, 7.4 , 26 ft. Enforcer. It has two 30 gallon gas tanks, one on each side of the boat. When we are using the left tank, the boat runs great. When we switch to the right tank, it misses and boggs down.
Any ideas on what I need to do to correct this problem??

The fuel pickup screen is probably plugged or the vent is plugged or both. If it happens right away then it's probably the fuel pickup screen or the fuel line.
