Joe i have read so many posts since i joined this i forgot you said that. so please don't go all skitzo and talking to inanimate objects. you may hurt you credablity. people might start thinking about witch nursing home to put you. and we wouldn't want that. so sit back take a breath and please forgive me for my over site.

You know, that was completely uncalled-for. Joe Reeves is one of the most helpful people on this site. He gave you the answer right up at the beginning of this thread, trying to assist you in fixing your problem.

Either you did not read what he wrote, or you read it and ignored it. He reminded you that he had said it, and you write this nonsense.

It's easy to get help on this forum, and if you look at the number of posts a person has made, you may get some idea of their expertise. Listen to the people here with thousands of posts.

For me, personally, your response to Joe Reeves, who has been nothing but helpful, guarantees that I will respond to no other question you post. And, BTW, I'm one of the guys who knows those Big Twins.

i also agree that it was uncalled for, especially from cadet, that obviously knows diddly about what he is doing. Joe is a retired Dealer. 30 years worth of these motors. i've been around the 45 years. we know nothing about what we are talking about. i've just redone the same engine as you saw in pictures. i will continue to help you and show you respect, but, i and all the others expect the same respect. we take the time out of our day to help people. NO ONE on this forum is paid to help you. it's from our love of reliable and safe boating that we do this.

dag gone guys that whole post was just a joke. i didn't mean anything by it at all. he said he was going to go talk to a wall. i was just trying to add a little humor to MY SCREW UP. heck I'm the idiot for not remembering he said that. i aprechate everything he and all of you have said and i have tried to do everything everyone has said. i meant no harm or disrespect from what i wrote. that is why i had the two big smiley faces and a wink at the end.

Hello rjc ,this is the old father in law .Got to be careful what you say sometimes or it might come back and bite you in the rear, lmao.RJC is a good guy fellas. He just really ,really wants to go fishing . Thanks for helping me on the motor Robert. We have had a lot of fun on that old boat .It just wasnt a big priority to me right now .We will get that old motor running better than ever!!I hope my new grandson is born real soon !! Thanks for all the help from all of the forum responders !!!! ;WINDST

We realize that he's a good fellow, but good fellows need to be called down occasionally. new generation sometimes forgets the old addage respect your elders, and sometimes we all just plain out, put our foot in our mouth.
