I'm thinking of dropping in a 4.3V-6 in my 87 Thompson... currently had a 3.7L (what a mistake )... I've heard ppl talking about rapido but can't find any information online about them... if someone could give me a website or any info for them that would be great ...thanks

Re: Rapido Marine?

Just had a 5.8 longblock from Rapido installed in my boat within the last month. Have taken it out 3 times, and after the first trip when several of the spark plug wires fell off, all is well. Good oil pressure. It runs like it did when it was new. Took a couple of weeks longer to ship than anticapated, but the 5.8 is such an oddball size they probably had to make one up.

4.3 replacing a 3.7???

You better do your homework on that one.

I have a Rapido reman with about 30 hours on it now. No problems.
