I have 15 hp gamefisher(force), in neutral I can wind it up like a mini bike but in gear it seems to go only half way. Any ideas?
Thanks

Re: no acceleration

Sure. In 99.9% of the cases that is because it is only running on one cylinder. Cure depends on the cause. Check the compression first. Then check the spark (and spark plugs).

Re: no acceleration

On that engine, it's almost certainly just firing on one cylinder. Pull plug wires one at a time, then restart. The one that won't let it restart is the bad one.

Ignition stuff is available for those Force-based engines.

pulled the plugs on wires one at a time and started up fine on both. Just seems to chug along. Seems like the throttle isn't advancing enough(gas) but I really don't know, I'm just guessing. What next?
Thanks

Re: no acceleration

OK, if you have spark on both cylinders, first check compression on both. If it's OK on both, then it's time to do a complete rebuild on the carbs.
