I realize that the buzzer is for low oil or clogged oil filter. Just the sincle blinking light by the oil marks is blinking. It diffenetely is not low oil, so I checked the oil filter. It is a clean as a whistle. However when checking it, there was a rubber gromet on the bottom tube of the filter. I figure that is suppose to be there.

Anyways, I was reading on here about another guy with the buzzer problem that ended up being corrosion in the connections. I was wondering could it also be a wiring failure at the filter? I am going to start checking the wires. I figure this is it since my livewell pump isn't working as well (less then 7 months ole) and the boat did sit for about 5 months.

Any info or tips are much appreciated.

Wait a sec...do you have a remote tank feeding the engine mounted tank? That gasket MUST be there, if it comes off in tank you have to remove oil from tank/tank and get it out or could stop up the gravity flow....
Now, need to know if you have just the engine tank....I'm thinking you have a remote tank in boat and THAT is where your problem is...that sensor has just one switch, and it activates the single blinking line if it gets down to 1/3 or so....or the switch may be bad....easy to test. The engines tank has three switches...one to turn pump in remote tank on, one to turn it off(when level gets up on eng tank), and one to say that it is low...which would give you two blinking lines....if you get all three lines blinking then the system has 'failed', engine tank says it is empty and remote says it's full, but you ain't xfering....these are magnetic switches inside the stem of probe...
