OMC Cobra - Resealing upper

I have resealed the upper on this drive with the exception of the one seal on the driveshaft. I would like to go after this one but it looks like a nightmare. All is well with the exception of the seal it holds vac but not pressure in a dry condition. I thought I would fill drive with oil and retest, but am unsure if this will work. Does anyone know what special tools I will need if I attempt this? and what parts I should change (bearings, races, shims, etc. other than the obvious seal?
Is this a task that can be completed by a fairly average mechanicc or better left to a pro?

Re: OMC Cobra - Resealing upper

As I posted above I pressure tested in a dry condition and it passed the Vac test but failed pressure. I have added oil and retested with 10 Lbs of pressure and it does leak down at the driveshaft input. All replies/tips are welcome

Fill it with gear oil, run off hose, & see if the oil is milky. If not, you should be good to go. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

driveshaft - yoke - whatever it is called. behind the U-joints. It is leaking there even when full of oil. Good news though I guess since this is inside the bellows then no water should get in the drive normally.
