Hi guys just got the boat running last week and was using a ton of gas. I figure it is because my livewell is full of water. Problem is i cant get the damn thing to drain. I used a portable air compressor but wouldnt break loose. Any suggestions on how to fix the blockage??? Any suggestions would be much appreciated thanks.

Re: Drain problem

Tad, Use a piece of hose(and your lungs) to siphon the water out. Alternatively use a manual bilge pump to pump it out.

If the hose isn't tied at some point, you could take a new length of hose and tape it good to the old one and pull it through and viola .

Re: Drain problem

well its not a hose it is a spout that runs out of the live well tank and down out the back of the transum. I think there is a bend in that pipe somewhere and that is why a hangar wont run thru it. And all the nasty **** that has been in there id die before i tried to suck that out of there thanks anyways guys ill figure it out always do have a good day and thanks for the advice.
