Help please I have a 70hp Merc 2 cycle 3 cyl. Just installed a new johnson/Evenruide primer bulb and gas line. i have to pump amd pump for about a min or more before it can get enough gas to start and after it starts no problem. The bulb won't get really hard and there are no air leaks. also no gas is leaking from the carbs. The motor is in excellient shape. When I do get enough gas and it starts I can cut engine off and it will start ok until the next day . I just know that something is wrong as it should not be that hard to get gas into the engine . Thanks and I appreciate and comments on this .

Disconnect the fue line from the motor then try to pump the bulb up. If it still doesn't get hard then the problem is either in the fuel line, tank or defective bulb. Borrow another tank and see if that work properly.
