I have a 1994 mariner 200 hp and the key switch when in the on position has a very quiet high pitched horn on continuosly.
I thought it was the engine alarm but discovered it was coming from the key switch. Is this just indicative of a key switch failure? Or does this "quiet" alarm signifiy some problem? Like I said the engine alarm for overheat or oil is not on. When the key switch is fist turned to the on position there is the normal LOUD beep-beep.
Thanks,
Dave
