It's ok to submerge the cross in urine because that is art, but put a koran in the toilet (where it belongs) and that is a hate crime!

They should be made to watch as a page at a time are flushed. Then they should be force fed pork, for a week solid. No prayer.

Does anyone have a koran they no longer want cluttering-up their bookshelves? If so, Please mail it to me, and I'll be very happy to do the dunking, and take many photos to share with you and all the rest of my friends.
I'd buy one from a book store, but have reservations over the chain of profits from the sale.
Also looking for paper mache renderings of binlaidnot suitable for incinerating in my town square.

I think the problem is the fact he "took" a copy that belonged to someone else. Now had he purchased 100 copies himself and then walked out into the courtyard and set the pile on fire......THAT would be freedom of speech. Then we'd all be on here talking about how brilliant the kid was

Most of this thread is a hate crime as far as I am concerned.

I am ashamed that my friends cannot see who the real enemy is and want to attack all of Islam and the Koran to punish radicals who violate the spirit of Islam and the Koran.

I don't see a conviction in this case unless there is evidence of circumstances not explained in the article. I cannot imagine a sensationalist rag like NYDN passing up any dirt not explained.

Until those you refer to stand in mass united ageist the radicals, they will be painted with the same brush JB.
May not be right, but as long as there is no sign of support for a peaceful coexistence from within the Islamic community, it will be viewed complicit or at least compassionate to the cause.

In the NY i live in every time some kid wacks a Christmas display ,Cross or Menorah



Or breaks into a church or temple and destroys anything it has been pushed as a hate crime for at least the last 2 years


And you can be sure it will be headline news
