I have an Evinrude Sportwin 9.5 Model 9822 E Serial # E07494 can anyone tell me the year of this motor and how I can get a manual for it.

1968. I get my manuals on eBay. You may have to wait awhile before one comes up, but they are always much cheaper than new.

OMC made the 9.5 through 1973 and the OMC factory service manuals got better as the series matured.

If you can find one on Ebay for either Johnson or Evinrude for any year from 1968 through 1973, they will be fine for your motor.

BTW, model 9822 is a 1968 9.5hp.
