Mercury 225hp with a 21-30 gallons tank enough? how much fuel this consume and how many miles will it get, i want an Average cause i know it depends on the boat size weight too. thx

This motor will use about 22 GPH(gallons per hour)at wot(wide open throttle)
Could use as little as 10gph at planing speed.Very difficult to be specific without more info.It is fairly obvious range will be limited with that amount of fuel under even the best of conditions.
