Still shopping for a boat. Haven't ruled out any that I have looked at, but cash is a issue which I am happy to offset with labour and brain power which I possess ( in my opinion anyway )

Found this boat Cutter Classic 158 Bowrider
Numbers on transom are GBW1514D090
Can anyone give me details on this boat at all?

Boat comes with no motor, I have an outboard 79 Johnson 75hp Stinger, I just fixed up with power tilt trim that I think would work well on this boat.
As always any info is welcome and appreciated.

It's a 1990 model year manufactured by Galaxie Boats Works in Jacksonville, Texas.

Well, I looked around on the internet out of curiosity, didn't find that exact model, but theit bowriders from 1990ish are sleek looking little boats. They look like they have a fast hull and not "old" looking.

search for the manufacture only and it pulls up 20-30 Galaxie Boat Works boats. Most 16-20 ft but one or two smaller. I ASSUME a "158' model is something like a 16 footer, right?

Yes 16 ft is about correct.
It is a nice looking little boat. A little smaller than I was looking for but has the "sleek" look as you said so it is definetly appealing.
