Sport jet 90 runs rough

I have a 1994 merc Sport Jet 90--3cyl--always ran well--started running rough with no power--I replaced the spark plugs and seems to run better--had to order wires-that should help also---My question is??? This seems to be ignition related--do coils lose power??? What other part may be in need of replacing---Thanks

You are in the wrong forum.....
Pretty sure your engine is a Force powerhead.....
You would do better posting in the Force or PWC forum.....​

Sorry--I understand it's a force powerhead--but it's also packaged and sold under the Merc label--I figured someone might know the anwser--thanks

No need to be sorry, it happens all the time.....
I'm sure someone does have some answers, but probably not here.....
It is basically an outboard, not an I/O.......​
