I want to add a kicker motor to my 1850 Crestlilner Sportish. I have a 2001 Johnson 150 on it with VRO so my built in Fuel tank is full of unmixed gas. The motor I want to add is a Johnson 2003 9.9 four stroke long shaft. Can I simply tee into the existing fuel line to the big motor? Will I experience problems with "fuel line venting" through the non-running motor's carbs? Both motors are carbeurated.
The 9.9 has a 9" pitch prop on it. I think I should go lower, 7" or 8", to reduce "lugging" while trolling. Comments please. Thanks in advance to all who relpy!
