I do say something to the people at my ramp and their attitudes are about the same as they are here... very little concern for anyone but themselves.

Welcome to America:D

& powerloading just assures us we don't always have to have it dredged

The public boat launches here in Calif. can be an adventure. Power loading I assume is running the boat up on the trailer and then powering up onto the bunks with the engine, I disagree with this. Idling up onto the trailer and then cutting off the motor I think is perfectly fine.

Instead of laughing at or criticizing someone launching or loading their boat, maybe ask if you can help. You may get turned down but if they say yes you have an opportunity to pass on some of your experience to what may be a new boater. Most people that know they need help may not ask for it but would gladly take it if it were offered.
