1998 Johnson Ocean Runner 175 problem

My 1998 Oceanrunner (175, V6) just had the throttle cable and control replaced. Worked fine for a day and now when I have it full throttle the engine sounds like it is laboring and I can't get it to go faster than 10 mph. When not in gear it sounds ok when I rev it up. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Any ideas. On vacation and want to use the boat with the kids but can't right now!!!

Remove the air box (four elastic straps) and check to see that all six carbs open when you push the throttle to full.

Those motors have quite a bit of throttle and gearshift linkage. Make sure yours all works...
