StingRay Stabilizer Fin on a Tri-Hull?

Old boat= 15' Glastron V-hull, w/ Merc 65HP.
The former owner put one of those StingRay Stabilizer fins on the engine. It still wasn't as stable as I'd like.

New boat= 15.5' Glaspar Tri-hull. I moved the Merc 65 to this boat and ran it for a couple of years. The boat was very stable. Now I'm upgrading to a Johnson 100 HP.

Question: Should I move the stabilizer to the new engine or don't bother because it's a tri-hill design and stable already. Anyone know the pro's and con's of using one? On a tri-hull?

Thanks in advance...

If it were mine, I'd be curious to try it both ways.

I'd have to do some drilling into the plate on the engine.. I really don't want to do that unless it is guaranteed to help the boat.

The "fin" is a "hydrofoil". Its not intended to "stabilize" the boat. Its purpose is to reduce bow rise and make the boat plane at a lower speed. Its particularly beneficial on boats that are stern heavy (like a big gas tank or aux. kicker), or have long bows like some cuddies. Personally, I wouldn't have a boat without one!
