Conflicting info on oil/gas mixture.Please help

I have a 1970 SeaKing 55hp Model# VWB27056A and have conflicting info on the correct gas/oil mix. I couldn't find anything on the search about the 55hp SeaKing. Using 2 cycle oil I've been told 50:1, 32:1 and 24:1.
I'll be running it for the first time today and will probably do 32:1. Will that cause any problem? What is the correct ratio?
