Shift Cable

I need to replace the shift cable on my Glastron SX 175 with the penta 3.0L. Does anyone know what the part number is on that, also how long is that cable?

Look on the cable. One end has the part number and the length. May be in inches or feet.
Absolutely no way of telling what the cable length is by your discription. No way of knowing year, or type drive.

Thanks Don, I'll look around at the ends of the cable. Is the number usually on the "inner rod" or the "outside sleeve" of the cable?

The boat is a 2002 Glastron sx 175 with penta 3.0L, sx-m drive. I hope these info can help narrow down the search.

Contact Glastron, they will be able to tell you what size cable is needed. It's not a standard size for any boat. The only ones that could help you would be someone with a 2002 Glastron sx 175 with penta 3.0L, sx-m drive that has replaced the cable and remembers the size.
