0C572962 is a transom shield for a 1988 Mercruiser Alpha.

I dont have the boat with me but I will post more pics of engine. It hasnt ran in like 3 years. They told me it just died and woulnt start again. Only thing I know is they put a different alternator.

Well, your six banger looks like it has eight plugwires on the distributer cap to me.

I could'nt really tell on the pic. when I took the pics i was having trouble holdong up engine cover didnt really get to investgate yet. I have never messed with an inboard first time.

Nice boat! Great lines! What make, & model? It appears to be a speedboat with racing bolster seats, I see it has thru-hull exhaust also,

I am figureing everything out right now . I think someone said it was a 1988 need interior work. And it needs a little motor work
