DI oil in a carbed motor

Someone just gave me a 2.5 gallon jug of West Marine DI oil. Was figuring I would just use it for the pre-mix in my '97 Johnson 115.

Is there any reason not to use it in a carbed motor? I know most DI's don't mix fuel and oil, will this oil mix with gas correctly to use as pre-mix?

It's a synthetic blend, not sure who makes it for West Marine, but I am assuming it's a decent oil. I know they are designed to handle the higher ring land temps in DI motors, just wanted to see if there is any difference in them that would make them harmful if mixed with fuel and run through a carb, I'm assuming not, and most likely it's probably just a standard Syn blend oil with a different label, just checking to be sure.

Thanks, Mike.

Hey tashasdaddy....I'm pretty sure I saw a TCW-3 rating on it, I doubt West Marine would sell a non-TCW-3 rating, but I will check before I use it. I do know that they list all the engine manufacturers on the front label.

Is this basically a synthetic blend that they just put a "DI" sticker on and call it a DI oil? That's what I was figuring.
