Can anyone tell me if the Model Number 1350 (1971) has a breaker point or breakerless ignition. I am going to install a tach and there are two different methods of wiring......does it matter if I try one method or the other?

You engine is breakerless so you will need a alternator driven tach and change the tach wire from the switchbox to one of the yellow studs on the rectifier

Should be a plug in the front of the shifter box...for a tach..or off it BLK/WHT..brown the signal
