Not the Outdrive

Pulled the outdrive tonight and the engine is still locked up.....very disappointed.........was really hoping to get away with a SEI drive........will start the tear down tomorrow......guess my season is over. If i need a short block where should i go?

Don't go searching for parts till you know what you need. It'll make you crazy.

Pull the plugs to see if any water comes out, the flappers do not prevent water from coming up the pipe.

It's already driving me crazy............

If I pull the plugs and water comes out..........should I try to start it?

The oil looks clean on the dip stick.

If it has saltwater in the cylinders, after this much time.....
I would say you will have a hard time salvaging it......
I still would try to get it up & running a.s.a.p.....

It can't Hurt to get it Running,.......
That might make finding the Problem easier.......
