I would really how much any good guy... I mean a really righteous guy that has morals and treats a woman like he would treat his mother, grandmother, you know, the respect that a woman, at least the way I was raised deserves.
How much of their anger, foul language would you take before lowering yourself to their attack? I at 53 feel that the women now adays doesn't deserve the respect that was awarded them a generation ago, especially when they use foul language and use minuscule attacks at your character. I mean you give and all that happens is they take. Whatever you have done for them in the entire time you have known them doesn't matter because you said no to one request of theirs. Their request being menial subservient in nature. I could expound further but I think you get the jest .

Re: Girls, can they be a pain?

I have really come to the point that I prefer my family, friends and my coveted toys more then putting up with the crap a, cough, cough, relationship
gag....with a woman more then a month with has to offer. The baggage they carry is unsurmountable for even a saint to deal with.
I feel that I, if I want the primal pleasures, a woman can offer..can find another..I have lost any interest in trying to obtain any further, deeper, life sucking crap they give after they think they have you, to maintain the pleasures. I will just kiss the crap off and lay another. When the new one turns to crap..................welll? Guess what......there is another!
Yay or nay?

Damn I have given and given and given. I guess it is time to be a player. I have passed up a lot of offers from girls because of my Catholic upbringing. I survived 12 years of Catholic school. I guess that is the reason why my buds that went to Public school told me I am way to nice. Time to play. The hell with what the heart feels. It gets hurt to easy. Play, take and lay. Then do something else the next day.

Yup. Some women are like that. What you need to wonder is why you seem to keep getting involved with them, rather than the ladies you were raised to deal with.

Exactly. Once you figure that out, you may be able to avoid becoming involved with the same types in the future, and solve both problems at once...

which is it firestar? you're a righteous guy or you pick girls you can sleep with.
what do you expect from a woman that you get what you want from. she gonna get what she wants from you.

I've been angry like you are right now, but turning into what you think she is, is not the right move. Go back to what you mom and grandma taught you.

Look for a woman like them.

There's a reason that you pick girls like this or they pic you. You need to look inside yourself for the answer as to why you end up with the same type of person.

Find a giver like yourself. It seems you are attracted to, or you are a magnet for, takers.

Don't let your bad experiences make you bitter toward all women, there are good ones out there, just be more selective. You already know what you don't want.

Re: Girls, can they be a pain?

Wasn't there a song about "Looking for Love in All the Wrong Places?

I married my high school sweetheart for 3 years with heartbroken results.

2nd wife liked men more than her husbands (she was previously married and fooled around with me, should have known that she would do that to me) Which she did! 3 years of marriage there as well. Yeah I was hurt and PO'd a lot.

3rd wife lasted 10 years and hooked up with a ex NFL player that promised her everything but only got a diviorce from me and nothing from him.

4th wife and present, we met thru a dating service. Finally the right catch. Been married for 10+ years without a fight or argument.

Yep, women can be a pain, "girls" ARE a PAIN! and having a trophy is even more of a pain. Plenty of fish out there, you just need to find the right keeper. Look in the heart because like a book, the cover is just the cover. The contents of the book is what it is all about.

A good woman will not give it up right away unless she is only looking for her own pleasure. At least that is one of the things my dad passed on to me.

Right on, 57, JB and BJCSC.
You need to look for women in a place where the good girls go. Church, School, etc. I hear some of the christian internet dating sites are good too. But don't be discouraged Firestar. Just keep looking in the right places and you'll find somebody.

Re: Girls, can they be a pain?

Been there, done that, got the t-shirt (lot of t-shirts)..

I've found that I would rather be single and content with no attachments (as I am currently), than to put up with abuse of any kind... I been there, learned my lesson....

It is also nice not to have anyone to report to.... I can go fish all night, flirt my azz off (and I do ;) ), hang with my friends, with nobody calling me wondering where I am or what i'm up to...

The best advice I can give is when you meet someone new, LISTEN......... Generally speaking, within a date or two they will tell you who and how they are... Pick up on the little things......

There are good ones out there

I am married 27 years now and am still nuts about my wife/best friend. Would not want to change a thing.

You guys that are bitter and gave up are missing out big time. Then again I might just have been one of the lucky ones. Remember one thing, marriage is give and take. If you cant handle that part of it your doomed to be alone.

Re: Girls, can they be a pain?

Well woman may turn out to be headaches more because of their fathers than their mothers. Doting Fathers out in the forum take note....if you are raising a little princess...remember some guy is going to have to marry her....yikes, and he is going to end up on this forum wondering what's wrong with women and why they expect everything in place for them. Same holds true for doting mothers and their little boys...some unfortunate girl is going to have to marry a 'mommas boy'....so make sure you're wives aren't still washing your sons clothes and making his lunch when he is 15 or whatever. The downside of this will be your daughters wondering why their husbands are big babies. Ouch!!!
Its a cruel cycle out there....and its hard not to contribute it, albeit unsuspectingly. Kind of humourous when you think of it tho':)
