year of mercury outboard question

I have a 35Hp Mercury outboard that i was told was a 1991 it has the #s
1024
9109 6532065 54935
A

I cant find any of these #s listed for Mercury Outboards to order parts for.
Any help would be appreciated.

Ps Motor was made in Wisconsin.

Do you have a definite serial number? Those just look like random numbers. IF it's a 91', it will have a number like 9586000 ..

The #s i got off the block is 1024
9109

The #s on the Transom plate are 6532065.

The#s off the prop are G1591. Thats all the #s i can find

I came up with the year from the serial number, It's a 50 to 1 engine, gear case uses Super Duty Gear lube, uses L76V spark plugs. What do you need to know, a OEM manual would be a good investment if your planing on doing your own service work

I have the same question with my 70 hp merc, I've been told it's a late 70's or early 80's. The serial # is 6382530

MERCURY DOESN'T LIST A MANUFACTURE DATE BUT I WOULD ASSUME BY THE WARRANTY PERIOD THAT ITS A 1984
