Suzuki 2002 225hp new old

I am looking into purchasing an unused Suzuki 225 hp outboard that is 5 years old. What concerns should I have with this motor? What would be a reasonable asking price? Thanks.

some 5 y/o's are just broke in, some are worn out. it all depends on how much use, and maintainance the motor has had.. fresh water/salt water.

The motor is 5 years old but has only been started and never run for any lenght of time.
