I have a yamaha outboard 8 hp ,2 stroke .I have changed the plugs to the plugs this motor calls for , i have my premix at 100 to 1 like it calls for , plugs are gapped to specs also, i have brand new fuel line and brand new yamaha fittings. it will start up and run for a sec. and bogs out, like it just runs out of gas :redface: can some one help me please.

you need to run that motor at 50:1 fuel/oil mixture ...... make sure your ventilation cap at the fuel tank is open .......

It would be helpful to know the exact model of your 8 hp motor. Did you make sure the choke knob is out when you start the engine? Did you change the fuel filter? What spark plugs did you install and what was the gap? What type of fuel hose are you using from the remote gas tank to the engine? Did you pump the bulb on this fuel hose?
