Re: inlet screen replacement

started to remove the lower unit today, and could not get to the screw that holds the shift rod,I have had the lower unit off twice before,I had the carbs replaced ,went from regular butterfly choke carbs to the primer choke carbs, with the three jets.
now I cannot even see the screw, its hiding what looks like behind a tab on the intake,I always was able to see the screw before I had the carbs changed, and get it with a long 1/4 extention and swival socket, now I don't see anyway of removing the screw, even if I remove the carbs. any idea's?

Sometimes it takes someone else to find your golfball even though your standing right over it:)
