Help key ignition switch

i have a 1975 135hp johnson. I have a ignition switch with these mars on it.

my wires are

blk/yel stripe
red/purp stripe
purp/white stripe
blk
yel/red stripe
purp

Can someone please help me with this one?

That doesn't make sense. Are you sure it isn't I/A and S?

I got it....yes.... yellow and red stripe had to go on the A/S post and the purple had to go to I post. Now that is very wierd. Now if i can only fix the shifting cable stiffness I would be in realy good shape. I loosened the clutch screw in the throttle. And still very stiff. no kinks. Its a brand new morse control to.
