Hi all! I have a quick question maybe someone can help.
Today I was rebuilding the fuel pump diaphragm on my 69 6hp.
I didn't pay enough attention to which side (A) or (B) a little spring with a really small plastic cap/top went on:eek: . Does it go on the inlet/outlet side? or opposite? or top or bottom?
maybe it doesn't matter, but I know that's a longshot!
Thanks for helping if ya can.

Last I heard that FP wasn't rebuildable.

Where the small spring and cap goes really depends on what position the outlet "piece" is positioned at. I can appreciate anyone who tries to get kits at a better price but usually the generic kits don't come with instructions. Many of the OEM kits do.

yeah, this was bombardier E/J kit. I was amazed at the directions, they outweighed the parts!
