Help ... no start

I have a 1995 Bayliner 2858 7.4 BII, that will not start. This engine has the raw water pump/fuel pump combination. The water pump will not turn, I have removed the belt and the pulley will move about 1/8th turn each way. Before I tear into this, does anyone have a suggestion or has anyone had this problem?? The boat ran fine, then the next day "no start". Thanks in advance.

Turns over ... will fire if you put a little gas in the carb (carefully) ... the fuel pump is driven by the raw water pump, so no fuel is being pumped.

Ayuh,............

I'd say it's Broken,.........

Until it's On the Bench,....... There's No Way of knowing which Part of it is the Broken Part...........

Seems to Me,.... There's an Oil Cavity in those that uses Gear Oil in it.........
Not sure,...... Can't remember............

Btw,..........

Locked up rusty bearings, broken parts. If it won't turn, it will be obvious.
