Year model for 85hp Johnson?

model # is 85093 D, ser # is E06050 85hp johnson
Can anyone tell me what year model this motor is ?Im trying to figure out if the powerheads in this will be compatible with my 1985 90hp johnson VRO, thank you for anyone's help.Randy

Thanks ,that answered my question! The guy told me it was a johnson but it is a evinrude motor 1970 model, although it looks almost the same as my 1985 90hp johnson (powerheads) .Does anyone know if the powerheads will interchange?

seriously doubt it. too many years apart. the 70 was a hydro electric shift also. so i would say no.
