Where is the tilt lock lever on a 89 merc 115 ?

Im looking at bringing my friends boat back home and his power trim doesnt work , we were able to raise the engine using the release valve but cant seem to find the lock lever. On my 86 150 merc their was a knob on the side to lock the engine.

should be the same place as on the 150

look for a small "L" shaped lever just behind the hinge point
