1962 Johnson 18 Specs needed

I am new to this boating world and just bought a 14 foot boat with the above motor on it. What plugs should be used? What is the gap? What is the proper gap on the points? What is the proper fuelil ratio? All help is appreciated.

Your engine should be model FD-16.

Unleaded regular/TC-W3 rated outboard oil is 24:1

Plugs are Champion J4C, gapped at .030"
Set the points at .020"

FDl-16 to be accurate. Still 24:1?

still 24/1?, Yes, the change to 50/1 was in 1964.
