I thought turkey day in Canada was Monday the 8th,

Yes, Canadian Thanksgiving is the 8th.
We are heading to Toronto today to find 1 of our sons a place to live when he starts his new job.
Sunday and Monday it will be in this order,
Boating
Boating
Boating

The forecast is in the 80's both days and the lake forecast is "flat as a pancake"
Maybe we will have turkey sandwiches on the lake while fishing ???

Usually we have the family over for dinner one day but due to the weather that can wait till next weekend.

Yes indeed it is Monday the 8th. Perhaps my greeting was a bit premature but I was trying to catch him before he headed out on his trip.
As for the Ontario weather...great stuff, I heard about that yesterday from a buddy of mine in Ottawa. Send some of that out here to the West Coast...we are at about 10C (50's fahrenheit) today and.....surprise....overcast and raining. I'm pulling out the boat today, in the rain unfortunately. I'd rather be back in Ontario (Ottawa), at least until after Winterlude....still not a lover of this West Coastal gloomy winter.
