I like all Toyota's vehicles, and think they're well designed, & well made, But way overpriced! In 2002, I was seriously considering the Highlander, until I saw the price tag of it, equpped nicely, but not fully, hovering around 30K! I decided to buy a new Hyundai Santa Fe LX fully loaded! being very similar for ($24k, out the door) and loved it! delivering a comfortable car like ride, and between 24-30mpg on a 4WD V6 for 3 1/2yrs, & 87k trouble free, happy miles, it was just starting to need tires, when I traded it in on a new 2005 Hyundai Tucson LX similarly equpped.

well made, but I choose to support the american economy, and if you ever worked as a tech in a independant shop you should have seen the price of the parts to repair the asian vehicles, thier outrageous and they do break down too.:).:)

I have a Silverado. The wiring harness for the trailer was already installed and clipped up by the spare tire.
I went back to the dealer and ordered a hitch. They installed it and plugged the wire into the bracket on the hitch all for a couple hundred bucks.

My Titan had the wiring harness clipped inside the bumper. The dealer charged me 200 for the the bar, 3 relays and installation. That's a pretty fair price. UHaul makes a nice hitch but I would have had to still buy the relays so it all worked out good in the end. The plug is a 7 pin and I'm told the brake controller harness is under the dash if I wanted to add that. I doubt I ever will. I bought a 7 wire to 4 wire adapter at Wal-Mart for 10 bucks. I keep all my straps and towing accessories in the lock box that's located in the bottom of the driver's side rear fender. It's a pretty nice setup. I do not have the "big tow package" which has the wide mirrors, lower geared rear end and transmission temp gauge. It's rated at 7000 pounds with my setup and up to 9500 with the tow package. I doubt anything I have to tow is over 2000 pounds though.
