Laser Rangefinder

Any opinions? I am a fan of Leupold and Nikon but I have read some reviews that were not favorable for the Leupold. Good reviews for the Nikon and even better reviews for the Bushnell.

I want one that will go at least 800+ yards.

I have the Bushnell, off the top of my head I believe it is a 600y model.
No problems in a couple years of useage. Tested on the shooting range to 300 yards it was within +- 1 yard.

I don't have one, but I told my wife a rangefinder sure would be a nice stocking stuffer. Where are you reading reviews on them?

Cabelas, optics planet both have reviews.... amazon does too.... epinions I have been doing a bunch of reading. The Bushnell 1500 with ARC looks like a winner based on what it will do and it's features (waterproof and floats ). The Nikon 1200 is a close 2d and sadle the reviews on the luepold are not too good.

Yea, that Bushnell looks like a nice unit. Can you email The-one-who-must-be-obeyed and let her know it would make a great Christmas gift for your wonderful husband? I will do the same with Jenn, if you would like.
