Mercury has something called 24c with teflon. not having a merc dealer close, what would be a substitute for this product. this is a sealer isnt it.thanks

No, it is not a sealer, it is a grease. If you want a sealer, as per Scaaty, post your intended use.

2-4-c is a water resistant grease with teflon (non stick/slippery stuff).

If what you want to do is lubricate prop shaft, swivel bracket, tilt tube, trailer bearings etc, and your engine is no longer under warranty, you could use what many have used for over 30 years in a marine environment, which is white grease.

I do not know what US brands are, but spec. is lithium based with zinc oxide additive. The UK brand I am using at present is Duckhams Keenol, (which says on the pot "especially suitable for marine applications") but there are plenty of alternatives.
