$12.00 - $13.00/gallon for Pennzoil full synthetic at our local WalMart. Last winter I bought every left over gallon of Pennzoil semi-synthetic they had at $5.00/gallon. While your engine may or may not run smoother on synthetic (or semi-synthetic) oil it will smoke less and there is less chance of fouling plugs.

Come on down to the lower 48 for an extended shopping trip! The money you save will pay for the trip.

Hey Luckster, does WW stock it up there? Surely it's cheaper than $50. I know you have WW's up there. I was in one in Toronto once.....bought some slick winter rubber, insulated, zippered, boots (which you can't get down here)....still have them.

If they don't stock it, go to the manager and request it. I have done it down here several times and they have been very responsive about filling specific requests. Seems every store's stock is different and it's tailored to the area. If you want some, surely others would too and it's a sale for them. Like WW's in/near farming areas, stock lubes, batteries, and sometimes filters for farm use.
