In my opinion, this crosses all political boundaries and is just simply very sad at all levels. It's been quite some time since an article brought tears to my eyes but this one certainly has.

Please don't anyone take this wrong; only noted to improve safety for kids, but I knew before I finished the article that there would be a seatbelt issue. Only way that Mom survives and three kids perish. I also believe that there is probably more info regarding the one in the carseat.

I wonder if we could get the contact info for his family. I wouldn't hesitate to write him and thank him for his service and to give him thoughts and prayers to help him through this most difficult time.

Oh gosh, I re-read it and I guess I didn't get that far the first time. The last sentence says that he has a brain injury and now speaks with a strong stutter. Damn, I wish I could go visit that guy.
