Re: Picking up the boat on saturday...

nice boat bill!!!
if my girl and i ever get down there well be expecting a ride!

cheers!

btw Our local whl team (kelowna rockets) who got beat by every one last year. all of a sudden showed up and started to play hockey like a team! theve now won 6 in a row!

oops!

Surely!

As far as your team, different caliber, but I am a Ranger fan, so you probably already know my disappointment over a lifetime of missed playoffs and lackluster performance by overpaid veterans.

:D I think on that model Sea Ray the 19" prop is optimized for cruising the Gulf of Mexico ........:D

Congratulations! Looks like a nice boat!

They already ordered both tach and prop and it is in the paperwork I signed off on that they will take care of both including labor.

Do you think there is more to it?
No, not really, but I would want to test both with the tach. The 19 may be better, won't know until you get to run with the tach and fully broken in. If you're at sea level and they say 21, then it's probably right. Nice ride!! 8)

They said since it was their mistake, I can keep the 19 if I want it for the inconvenience. When the time comes, I will pick brains here for the proper selection based on our usage and tach readings.

We will be going from skiing and wakeboarding to just cruising...but not for about 5 months from now grrrr!

Thanks for the input and advice!

Hey, if you get to keep the 19 and the 21, then it is a win-win. You can optimise performance for what you are doing that day.

Nice boat! Congrats!

Thank you!

It is a nice bonus. Ill take the "bit of inconvenience" for it. I will do some research before the season next year to figure out which prop would be best for what usage.

I haven't stopped reading the manuals since Saturday whenever I get the time. I figure by spring I should have a good grasp of the nuances for this particular boat and engine.
