The Golden Corral and Ponderosa are feedn the Vets for free today. This morning it was the GC, then for lunch it was Ponderosa. Will finish off at Ponderosa tonite. At all you can eat plus sneak out ya can't go wrong. Will Pay for it later I am sure.

What do you think. You must be kinda new here. I did my time in Nam as a combat medic as alot of us here have.

i was a Nam corpsman also, 70-71 9th Engineer Batallion, 1st MarDiv.

we're a few of the lucky corpsman, we came home. a friend from college, and the guy i replaced, came home in a body bag.

Flew on medivacs (Hueys) and was with First Recon Tashasdaddy on first tour. Then went back for operation baby lift the second time. Went over there with 15 fellow corpsman first time and only ten of us made it back.

Veterns day also brings back memories of long ago. I face it with my head held high now. Not like it was in the 70s when we hid who we were.

Favorite son in law was a medic in Nam. Three purple hearts, Bronze Star. Retired Master Chief. He is now a CNA (Certified Nurse Anesthetist).

I will ask him what outfit he was with.
