I posted this for a friend who's trying to sell this boat, we're trying to get some idea of what it's worth. I believe it's an 84 model. 13ft Glastron with a Yamaha 70HP on the back of it. It is rated for 90HP. It does need a new deck put back in it, he tore the old decking out. What do you all think? I think it's a sharp looking boat, it may be newer, and the motor alone should be worth something. It does come with a tilt trailer.

Re: Value of this Glastron

I would think its a mid 80's Glastron ssv model probaly more like 15 1/2 feet and the engine would be about the same year. Value with trailer around $3000 to $4000.

Re: Value of this Glastron

I thank you for the input quebec#1. If you was questioning the size I know for a fact it's no bigger than a 13ft, I took the picture my self. The worst thing is I didn't have a tape measurer handy. That boat I posted here is a baby boat compared to a 15 1/2 footer. More comments are welcome.

84 70 Yama 1,000
trailer 300
classic project hull 400

total 1,700 considering time of year, maybe 2,000 in the spring.

thats my opinion..

Thanks TD, thats what I was thinking to. Actually that friend started out lower than $1700when he first tried to sell it. I thought well at least give the people some room to play around with and wheel & deal with. So I figured $2000 OBO.

Re: Value of this Glastron

If that is an '84 Glastron it is an SSV-151, which measured 15.5ft LOA. They did not make a smaller boat that year.

From Nada.com:
Boats and Personal Watercraft
1984 GLASTRON INC
SSV-151
Outboard Boats
Length: 15'
Model Name/Description: SSV-151
Boat Type: Outboard Boats
Hull Material: Fiberglass
Beam: 6' 5"
Net Weight: 700
Low Retail Average Retail
TOTAL PRICE $890 $960
Prices above are for hull -only-

I'd agree with what others have said, that the package value (boat/motor/trailer) is very subjective but could be expected to fetch upwards of $2500 to $3000 CDN depending on its condition and the market.

Re: Value of this Glastron

I see says the blind man . You know what it is I'm use to seeing a 15 1/2 foot boat in a tri hull and not the newer style hull. This must of thrown me off. Even the owner agrees that it looks to be a 13 foot. But now I half to say I was was wrong and I apologies for trying to argue the point of the hull size. I haven't seen very many 15 ft boats in the newer hull styles. I just wished I did have the tape measure at the time I was there taking pictures. Thanks for pointing that out AMD.
