are getting up early in the morning to go shopping tomorrow? I've noticed a few places that are selling online with free shipping and really nice prices. The only reason I may get up in the morning tomorrow is for the laptop at Bestbuy. It seems like quite a deal to me but i'm not that computer savy. What do the rest think about it?

Depends on the laptop.What it is and how its setup.
My girlfriend is going early but i'm not...I don't care for the shopping crowd...

I work at Wal-mart unloading the trucks and this time of the year is a pain because of all the black friday stuff that can't leave the backroom until later tonight. The laptop is a Toshiba A135-S7403 Laptop & Canon 3-in-1 Printer Package. I'm not to tech savy, so thanks for the help.

I saw an ad on TV for Lowes that showed the 18V Firestorm 4 item package for $39.99.
Hmmmmm, might be worth it. That and Sportsmans Warehouse (my wife calls it the "man store") is opening early.

Thats not a bad price on that laptop.I had 2 Toshibas before and took them back,One would black screen and the other had a couple dead pixels.
If you buy it you need to get at least 1gig of ram.Vista will each 512megs up.
I ended up buying a HP with 2 gigs of ram and the Duo Core processor...Much Better. Dell is running some great deals right now too..

I'll stick with Toshiba. I've had several over the years. I hit one with a car (long story). Their extended warranties are awesome. They fixed it free. My daughter spilled a coke in hers and they fixed it under warranty. Dell's customer service is a nightmare to deal with. That's why they are having financial problems.

Looks like an okay deal. Needs more memory though (get 2 gig if you can).
Depending on how you use it, the extended warranty is usually a good idea for a notebook also.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I might get up early. My mom wants one of those laptops and for the price I'll get one to and possibly downgrade/upgrade to xp(however you look at it). I've got one question tho? When switching to Xp do I need to buy a disc or anything to do it or is it like some configuration or download?

To be honest with you my mother is running Vista on her verly new computer and it runs smooth and fast. I haven't seen a problem with it at all. To down grade from Vista to XP you'll half to find the drivers for the laptop's accessories and everything.
