Strange Yamaha enquiry - not sure if you will know

enquiry is a little more difficult and unusual. I have a tiller arm which has been in my garage for a while since a job lot I bought from a boat jumble. I need to know what it will fit. It looks to be from one of the newer 4 strokes guess 1998 onwards, It has the twist grip handle, a gear lever about 4 inches away from this grip and two cables running down the arm. There is a seperate attachment which I guess fits it to the outboard. There is some numbers on it which may be a part number. they are 4B1211 -

AND 63D00 ( this one is on a linkage plate holding the cables)

I can send a pic for you to take a look if needed please. I would be grateful if you could advise what motors hp/age it should fit. Thank you.

hahaha, I can recognize that tiller anywhere, that is no doubt the tiller off a yamaha 50 HMHOS - 2-stroke ......

do you happen to know what years it will fit,

will it fit any other hp sizes please could you suggest which ones and years

How the heck you can tell from looking at it I'll never know, amazing thanks v much

it will fit any H model 50hp yamaha ...... could even fit a 40hp yamaha aswell ...... not sure when they started to make the H model, maybe someone else can shed some light on that ...... think it is around 2004 ......
