Ahhh. The joys of being single, without a girlfriend.
In all honesty, I did put off asking one out, until the beginning of next semester for this very reason. Now, I just have to worry about Valentines day (overrated) and birthdays.

For you gents in the northern climes, I did good one year with a pair of Uggs.

We got my daughter a pair of what we call Fuggs.. Fake Uggs. Ain't no way I'm paying $190+ for a pair of those things.. $35 and were out the door.

While we were shopping I asked my wife if she wanted a pair of Juggs but she didn't go for that..

Just to be clear, Fugg meant something totally different when I was young.

I got one of those doorbuster specials on a diamond ring. Darn good deal and wifey loves it. Also got her a good set of luggage and a GPS for the car.

We have no secrets, she picked them all out herself.

What did I get for my wife? about a buck 380!
Right now I'm smitten with SBN's, Tyme 2's, and Hoss's, witty response's, but seriously, I don't know what to get her, she's got everything,,, Hey, she's got me! What else could she want, don't answer that. Let's see, last year I got her an electric chair,,, oops! I mean an electric blanket this summer I taught her how to drive the jetski, now she's addicted but could care less for the boat recently I got her a laptop, and a treadmill, and I think she wants a power rug shampooer for Xmas, (but I have other idea's first, our baby (the tow vehicle) needs new shoes (new tires) first!, and they ain't cheap, but gotta keep it mobile, right?.

An Ipod? a nano? I have no idea what these words mean, nor do I want to know,,, in fact I'm probably the only man in the northern hemisphere without a cell phone! I have no use for them, I can't even see, or work the buttons,,, In an emergency, or while traveling, my wife has a Trac phone, that works off a phone card for us to use.

I got my wife some fishing gear (lures, flourocarbon line, etc) for sock gifts, as well as a lotion/body spray/whatever else kit from bath and body works, and a couple other small things.

For the main thing, I got her the purse she wants. I know it's the purse she wants because she gave me a picture of it and told me that if I got anything other than that, that I would be in big trouble. I got it and wrapped it up, and addressed it to my son so that she'll open all her other gifts first and think I forgot about the purse.

For a gag-gift I wrapped up a roll of antacids in a jewelry box.

It has been tough..... a new winter coat - will be put to good use here!.... wife is a knitter and got some high end knitting needle set she wanted and a car adaptor for her ipod..... but the best gift appeared in our driveway yesterday ........

After point, click, and buy for the past 8 years, last Christmas and this one is very limited. Only the kids under 18 are getting gifts. One more limited Christmas and all the cards will be paid off! Then it will be cash for any gifts bought in the future. My wife and I have an agreement that no gifts to each other until our debt is gone. Only 19 more months to go and no more surpporting the credit card compainies.

She and I do have a weekend getaway planned for our own celebration A big thanks to my boss and company owner
