perfect seal

so does yer can of perfect seal seperate into globs at the bottom of the can when not used for, say a month or two at the most? mine mixes back up ok but i'm wondering if that's normal, i've only seen one can of perfect seal so have nothing to compare it to......

Yeah, that stuff is not made for storage.......put the cap on TIGHT. I usually get the OMC stuff in the small cans.

Alot of different Mechanicin' Glues tend to do That............

As long as it still Mixes Up,........... No Problem................;)

OMC stuff
on my mercruiser :confused:

:D, that might be as bad as me using polaris pwc waterproof grease on my propshaft, which works just fine i might add. it's what i have on hand for waterproof grease... anyways, thanks for answering my question guys. sounds like the seperation is normal....i'll keep mixin it up..........

I use the OMC stuff on everything from outboards to lawnmowers. Great stuff.

Yes, it does tend to "ball up" in the can. The cap has to be tight and I store it upside down.

AS little acetone will soften it up if it gets too stiff.

hum, so what is this omc "stuff" that is so good.... where do ya get some good omc stuff that is good for mercruisers? ......... ain't perfect seal mixed up proper good enogh?

No difference between the two (bet it's made by the same vendor), just that the OMC stuff comes in smaller cans if you want...that way, you throw away less of it.
